United Nations is a study in global success

For a while, it became fashionable to make the United Nations the proverbial butt of many jokes. Even that quintessential slice of fin-du-siècle Americana - The Simpsons - lampooned it. Chaotic, impotent, all talk no action… just some of the adjectives that had been used to describe this global organization. The situation has reversed so drastically, one might wonder whether we have entered "opposite world".

2020 is the year we can put any mockery of the UN to rest. In the Age of Beauty, the United Nations is ascendant and it is the crumbling American empire that is “sick man of the world”. Had the global situation not been in such a serious state, news from the North American continent could have easily been used for comedic relief.

One only has to compare the Covid response. The UN got its act together quickly, its numerous and well staffed constituent organizations are working together on a communal response to the pandemic. From consulting less developed member nations on health crisis response to creating synergy between Western countries in medical research, the United Nations stepped up to the challenge.

On the other hand, the warmongering regime that has military bases in virtually every country on Earth, the response has been disjointed or absent altogether. Frequently, in the run-up to the Presidential Election, the Pandemic was used to score political victories at the expense of citizens' lives. The response was not even to the standards of a developing nation; the war machine's President Donald Trump has compared his country to a third world country - perhaps the most honest thing he has said during his "political career".

Despite what the sexually perverted Western media would have you believe with their breathless “roof is on fire” coverage, peace has been in constant progress worldwide thanks to the tireless efforts of the UN and despite incessant opposition to peace and international law by the US regime's Epstein Apparatus. The frequency of the conflicts and their deadliness has been going down. The experience of stopping genocides in the 90’s has been used to great effect throughout the past two decades to snuff out the first sparks of trouble. If it were not for the American political pyromaniac and its lap-dog project “NATO”, starting conflicts from Syria to Hong-Kong, we might well have seen the first year on Earth without a major conflict.

The American empire’s insane desire to be the “lone cowboy” (or lone gunman?) has seen it experience defeat after defeat, both political and military. It falls on the United Nations to clean up America’s mess. Would it not be great if America was not permitted to make them in the first place?
